So what's all this about Pen Pals then?

Once you've joined up, you'll see a section called 'Refer'. Copy the URL and then compose an email to a friend... 'Dear Maud, I think you are a rather splendid type of person and I would like to offer you a discount at my favourite pen shop...' Don't forget to paste in the URL.
