Lunar New Year

29th January marks the start of the Lunar New Year, considered by many - particularly in Chinese communities - to be the most important time of the year.

2025 is the Year of the Snake, and Snakes are charming, creative and intelligent, but can also be rather ruthless!

Nahvalur are celebrating with their serpentine Pen of the Year, and there are also sinuous offerings from Diplomat, BENU and Graf von Faber-Castell!

Today is LEGO Day, which celebrates the day in 1958 that the fabulous LEGO brick was patented, although it actually came into being in 1949. And if you had a brick from 1949 and used it with one you bought last week, they'd still stick together, because the design hasn't changed a whit. Ooh, and if you took all the LEGO bricks in the world and stacked them on top of each other, the tower would be over 2.3 million miles high, because they outnumber people by about 80 to 1. OK, that's enough facts. Why not celebrate LEGO day with a bit of LEGO?
