In a few hours it'll be 2025, a very futuristic-sounding year. Good lord, how did that happen? Where has 2024 gone? Surely it was shorter than normal years, hence the rapidity of its progress? Oh. No. Actually it was longer! Oh dear.

Because we're off for the New Year, any orders placed now won't go out until Thursday 2nd January. But that might be way sooner than you think it is!

What's New?

A few last little bits of newness to end the year!

Wearingeul - creators of stories in ink form - have launched the latest two in their World Literature collection.

Frances Hodgson Burnett's A Little Princess began life as a serialised short story in the late 1880s, with the extended version published as a children's book in 1905.

The ink is a pale lavender with silver and gold highlights, and embodies the indomitable spirit of Sara Crewe, the young heroine of the story.

Goethe's 18th century tale of unrequited love - The Sorrows of Young Werther - is a bluish-grey ink with hints of yellow and green, no doubt to represent Werther's storm of mixed emotions.
