As a public benefit corporation, our driving mission at Burlap & Barrel is to deliver exceptional ingredients by way of equitable and transparent sourcing. Our Jane Goodall Woodland Honeys from Western Tanzania are produced by wild bees who feed on 28 species of wildflowers. Humanely harvested by the local community, these extraordinary nectars strengthen incentive to protect the Miombo woodlands and the wildlife within from deforestation. 5% of all sales of this honey will go to support the work of the Jane Goodall Institute.
