Here are some ideas to inspire you as we transition to fall: Learn a new form of exercise - If you're a runner, try yoga. If you're a gym head, try a dance class. Learning a new skill is great for your brain at any age and training your body in different ways can benefit your muscles, strength and endurance.Try a new veggie in the kitchen - Challenge yourself to try cooking a vegetable you've never cooked before. Look up some fun recipes ahead of time and enjoy the benefits of new phytonutrients. Some ideas are to cook beets (roasted with goat cheese is nice), mustard greens (sauteed with spices) or try roasting sunchokes.Try a new cuisine in the kitchen - This is a related idea, but requires a little more planning. Try a new cultural cuisine. If you've never made Thai food, Indian food or Middle Eastern food now is a great time to start. Pick a recipe online, gather the spices and wow your family with new flavors.Add a new supplement - This doesn't mean you should take any old supplement regardless of need, but many folks can benefit from basic supplements like multivitamins, vitamin D and omega-3s. Talk to your doctor or dietitian to find out what supplements might be best for you.  Consider seeing a dietitian - This isn't just shameless self-promotion. If you feel like you're unsure what to eat to help support your long-term health, it may be time to see a registered dietitian. We're the experts on nutrition and can help with conditions like heart health, diabetes, hormone health and so much more. Be sure to find someone with the real credential (RD) to avoid getting advice that isn't science-backed.Facebook Email Instagram Need more help finding everything you need to live #ThatVitaminLife - a life of health, wellness, joy and balance?
