If you were fortunate enough to pick up their Napa Red last month from the same vintage, then you know EXACTLY how stellar their wines are! The winery has roots with family members that stem from the early Grgich Hills days! The winemaker here started at St. Clement Vineyards and worked his way up to such prestigious wineries such as Cuvaison, Honig, Robert Craig, Ehlers Estate and White Cottage Ranch. Now THAT'S Pedigree!
This is one of those tiny production wineries that we were lucky enough to find a couple of their samples to try in our tasting room. Sometimes the Wine Gods are smiling down on us…
When we first sampled this we had it pegged for a $40-50 wine… which is exactly the winery price! So when they accepted our 'take all offer' for this older 99-Point Vintage, we were shocked and thrilled as that means that we can offer it to you for Under $20!! But in all seriousness… with a 3 Barrel production (that's only 75 Cases) this one is going to go in the blink of an eye just like their Napa Red Blend did. So don't hesitate on this one!
