Our Dahlias are shipped as tubers. Gardeners who wish to get a head start on the season may pot up their tubers indoors to get them growing. (For easy tips, see our blog post.) Those who prefer to wait may store their tubers in a cool, dark, dry spot (a corner of the basement or the bottom of a cool closet are ideal) until the ground warms and it’s time to plant them directly into the ground.
you’ll find a selection of plants that make fine companions for Dahlias. Add a variety to your garden and to vases and see how your Dahlias shine in their company.
Our delightful new Dahlia Tote is a generously sized sack made of durable, organic cotton canvas. One side features a stunning single blossom. The other an artful lineup of Dahlias in shades of pink, orange, and green. A slender gusset makes the tote nicely sized for trips to the farmer’s market, errands, and commuter essentials. It’s great for gifting, too.
