Extreme Performance Tire Test: Part 1 and Part 2

Let’s talk about summer tires. Explicitly, let’s talk about Extreme Performance Summer tires. They are the best of both worlds, as they are great at the race track but offer the maximal street traction on the market.

Naturally, at Tire Rack, we are interested in both of these worlds, and we set out to find out which of these behemoths of the blacktop rises to the occasion.

This is a Two Part Test

The first is our usual road ride and Tire Rack test track laps. The second involves a trip to GingerMan Raceway, where we challenged the group on the 2.14mi, 11-corner road course in southwest Michigan. Once again, we did so in our fresh, baby blue BMW M2.
