This first release is stunning, with the African Elephant featured on the obverse of each coin in a full-body action pose for the first time ever.

As is tradition for the Big 5 series, the reverse features a bisected design so that when two coins are placed next to each other, a complete close-up portrait of the animal is seen. Additionally, for the first time ever, an “Easter Egg” or hidden image of another animal will be on the reverse.
