I really don't want you to miss this...

Dear OBS friends,

Today marks the start of the Advent season, and just one day until the start of our Advent OBS - The Marvel and Miracle of Advent! It's so easy to breeze right by this time but I don't want you to miss it this year. One of the things I love about Advent is that it honors the both/and for believers — the waiting, longing, and suffering along with the rejoicing in the coming of our Savior King, Jesus.

This message is for each and every one of us. Advent is this beautiful preparation, pre-glitter, pre-celebration pause when we can bring Him everything we are, everything we feel, everything we long for, everything we’re disappointed about, and worship Him in it with awe and wonder because He loves us, He understands us, and He is with us. Emmanuel.

I can't wait to get started tomorrow and I know you're going to love learning from Christine and Lisa. Each session is taught by one of them and feels like two friends inviting you into their homes for some cocoa and Jesus… does it get any better than that?!?
