I’m not sure what your traditions are on this day, but I can tell you a bit about life in my house. It’s changed a little over the years…
Gone are the days of 4am wake-up calls from eager five-year-olds. Instead, I’m outside my bedroom pleading with my twenty-somethings to go to bed and turn the music down.
Gone are the days when I get to eat three quarters of the turkey because nobody else wants any. I must now weigh my meagre portion and put it into my protein app before even a mouthful is allowed past my lips.
Times might have changed, but this is still my favourite day of the year. I hope it also brings some fun into your life.
Whatever your beliefs and traditions on this day – whether you even celebrate it or not – I would like to say a big THANK YOU for your support over the last year. It is greatly appreciated, and I wish you a very happy and peaceful time with family and friends, and the very best for 2025.
