I am thrilled to share new teas totally unlike previous August Uncommon blends.

August Essentials are classic teas selected for exceptional flavor and uncompromising quality. These teas are the most excellent versions of traditional tea blends. They are 100% organic and available in both loose tea and tea bags.

Today we have three new black teas, each with their own character and flavor: English Breakfast, Earl Grey and Black Gold. And while they're traditional tea flavors, they are anything but basic.

English Breakfast is a South Indian black tea with the strongest tea flavor in the collection. It's bracing and bold with the early morning pick-me-up you need. It is delightful with milk and sugar.

In a sea of Earl Grey blends, ours has exquisite bergamot orange essence, beautiful blue cornflowers and the highest quality South Indian and Ceylon black teas with velvety flavor.

Black Gold is a gorgeous black Yunnan tea. It's smoother than English Breakfast with rich, malty caramel notes. It's exquisite on its own and richer still with milk.

We created August Essentials to compliment our range of wild adventurous flavors. These exceptional teas offer my palate a nice breather when I need something more simple but nonetheless flavorful.
